The 50/50 biomaterial is made from 50% fibres from sugarcane and 50% wheatstraw. The fibres are compressed into shapes such as plates, cups, bowls, burger and sallad packaging etc. Wheatstraw is a leftover material from flour harvesting, that is rarely used for products and the sugarcane pulp is made from the sugarcane stems after extraction of sugar, meaning the 50/50 biomaterial is made from leftovers from food production. The material is compressed only, not coated, yet durable. The wheatstraw is clearly visible making the assortment look natural and modern. Can be retail packed. Ask for designs and MOQ.

Compostability is the new

ECOLOGICAL WAVE

Traditional petro-based plastics are thousands of years in the decompose process and add chemicals that harm nature, animals and you.

All MAISTIC® certified compostable products are free of chemicals such as phthalates, bisphenols and heavy metals. So it makes sense to pack your food in MAISTIC rather than plastic - both for you at home, for the restaurant industry and for the food industry. It looks like plastic - but is MAISTIC
