This is microplastic DUST 😱
We used this kitchen sponge for just 4 seconds... Only four seconds... 😳

Plastic sponges like these = plastic pollution.
They shouldn’t be used. Neither indoors, nor outdoors.
Why?
Ordinary kitchen sponges contain 3 types of plastic: Polyurethane, polyester and nylon.
The last two mentioned are used for the scourer side = the side you see falling apart in the video. Both of these plastic types are often found as plastic pollution on land as well as in sea.
You probably know polyester pollution coming from fleece, clothes, cloths etc. Nylon was recently found 😨 in the flesh of fish for human consumption by Malaysian scientists... The microplastic dust is so small, some of it WILL end up in nature. Through drains and sewers to the sea, as not all of these very small particles will be taken by filters.
But also notice this: When you use these sponges, small green plastic particles are left in the still wet surface. When moist is gone, the microplastic pieces will fall to the ground – to you floors, tiles etc. Not all of that dust will be catched by vacuuming the floors... And it will never be caught, if you use the sponge outside.

STOP using kitchen scrubbers. Today !! This video is exactly why Maistic made these 3 new scrubber sponges.
They are plastic free, fully biobased – and NOT single use. Just put them in the dishwasher to use again and again and again…. Available in supermarkets - and price is definitely reasonable ❤️😅 About the Malaysia study, read here: http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/plastic-microparticles-fish-flesh-eaten-humans-food-chain-mackerel-anchovy-mullet-a7860726.html
